How many Hz does your monitor run at?
I’ve got a 144Hz and I love it

Search Steam for an app called 3DMark. It does comprehensive benchmarking using a variety of stunning programs and gives your pc a grade comparing it to other users.
My laptop can manage 40-50fps for this one but it drops as it progresses. There’s another “ultra” test that it won’t allow my lowly machine to run.

What preset is that on?
I think there’s something wrong with my drivers because I’ve got an R9 290 an I got on the Ultra preset:
Min: 8.9 Max: 114 Avg: 33.4

My GPU literally whines when I run 3DMark.

I’m running on Ubuntu, and apparently the Linux port of BioShock Infinite is just an emulated version with a wrapper of the windows game. That’s why the numbers are so low.
